This has been the most fun! She was really a pill in the mornings to get out of bed and dressed for school. This has been a huge motivator to get up- get HERSELF dressed, teeth and hair brushed and breakfast- then and only then does she get to open her surprise! The challenge has been finding little items that aren't too expensive- it adds up fast!
Off to bed now- Zoey is listening to her Yo Yo Ma CD- her new aspiration is to play cello. She saw a young boy at the River Market playing for money and she watched him for 30 minutes. Our old neighbor says they have a mini cello they will sell us- maybe for her birthday if she still has interest!

I too am a failed scrapbookist - went to one party, enjoyed it and bought all the supplies and never did it again!

LOVE your advent calendar!!!! And I loved your Christmas card as well. The movie was loud and dark but only the loud part bothered Kate a little bit.
