We have another brave, stoic girl. It never ceases to amaze me how the CCAA makes the perfect matches for our families. We are a loud, boisterous family and Violet seems to love it. She has cutest throaty laugh and appeases us by laughing at all our antics. No tears, yet. We know this is a survival technique. The tears are essential and have to come at some point but this little fighter isn;t ready, yet. As, the caregivers left she said in sucha sweet, soft. voice "bye, bye jie jie". (bye bye big sister). Broke my heart.
After we left the civil affairs office she would point to various Chinese women and say mama. She calls me mama, zoey mama and kelley mama. you are mama if you are capable of helping her acquire something of she wants. she is very much like zoey in that she wants to figure out how things work and take them apart. the hotel phone was assembled and disassembled countless times last night.
She has a voracious appetite and is eating everything in sight. It is 4 am here and i have been awake for 3 hours trying to get internet to work. We are all awake but sweet Yo Yo (violet).
Zoey has been amazing. She says it is feels weird to have a sister but she does not feel jealous. when i gave her a kiss good night she reminded me to give one to yo yo for fear she might feel left out!
Tomorrow we have to go back to the civil affairs office to make it official. this is very traumatic for the babies and it is one of the things i abhor about this process. Lollipops and Cheerios will be in order.

Good luck tomorrow/today! It's a long, tough day...Hope Violet gets through it without too much of a shutdown. We love the pictures! Miranda studies every one!
Love all the pictures--Violet is so precious. We can't wait to meet the new addition to the Hrabe clan. Again, congratulations!
