Posting Update by Kelley

Stacie wanted me to kick in an update real quick with some photos of today. She is currently walking Z girl up and down hallway! Man, our house isnt ready for a walking girl...thought we would have some time to work in to it! The big event today was going to Walmart....most went to pick up things needed for babies. Definetly not your typical KC suburban Wally World, esp walking thru the meat department and deli....smoked duck feet anyone? Ate at KFC in the shopping center, which was disgusting to say the least. Zoey had a rough nap and had a little break down from likely missing her foster family, but she got through it and is back to her cherrio eatin self. All for now, out to big Chinese dinner tonight....pass the pickled chicken heads!! (BTW...Stacie wanted me to tell Kristen that a welcome home banner would be ok!)

The first picture....mystery picture! The race is on now. Who is going to need to jog? It is fun to watch people's reactions over there. All heads were turned..

Am up early to check the blog and then back to bed for a few short minutes.

Love, Gammy Hayes

Ni Hao Stacie and Kelly and Zoey!! She is so beautiful and you both are indeed so lucky to have her as your forever child. Reading all of your blog brought many tears to my eyes remembering the uncertainty, the fear of not knowing who she is yet and how it will be to have a baby!!! And the fabulous inexplicable joy when you are finally in your room and she smiles for the first time!! I'm so thankful to beable to see your journey. Have a blast in Guangjhou and hello for me to China!! Love, Lisa Megahee

I recognize that dress! It looks so cute on her! She looks so happy and healthy. It must be so comforting to know that she was obviously in good hands before she found her way to you! Thought you'd like to know that I am having some prints made because the girls want to bring them to school so they can tell their classes about Z!

She truly is a China Doll! Boy, she can walk good! I am getting a lot of wonderful comments from people that I have forwarded your blog to. Aunt Ellen wrote today and was anxious to find out as she does not have a computer. Enjoy yourselves, this is truly a great time in your lives.
